  • To further develop techniques for the generation of census OAs by automated zone design techniques
  • To demonstrate to users the form and characteristics of the proposed 2001 Census OAs
  • To investigate the issues involved in maintaining 2001 output geography after the census

The project is based in the Department of Geography at the University of Southampton, and directed by Prof David Martin (D.J.Martin@soton.ac.uk). The project team are Dr Mark Tranmer (mark.tranmer@man.ac.uk) and Dr Abigail Nolan.
