SurfaceBuilder ('02 version, 2.3Mb) SurfaceBuilder ('07 version, 2.3Mb) |
SurfaceBuilder: tool for the generation of population surface models from zone centroid locations. Will read a wide variety of ASCII text formats and construct grid-based surface models. Outputs to a range of user-specified formats. Includes a basic surface previewer. The '07 version contains some bug fixes and enhancements, including the ability to handle larger datasets. | ||
| AZM (2.1Mb) | AZM (Automated Zone Matching): tool for automated zone design. Impements zone design on a set of zones described by polygon and arc attribute tables exported from Arc/Info or generated by users' own programs. Will optimize the match between two zonal systems, or the aggregation of a set of building block zones into output areas with a range of user-controlled design parameters. | ||
| AZTool | AZTool (Automated Zoning tool): this is a long-awaited development based on the AZM software but much updated in collaboration with colleages Samantha Cockings, Andy Harfoot and Duncan Hornsby. It includes more general-purpose zone design functionality, the ability to input data in Shapefile format and an XML parameter file structure.
